Our Head of Policy and Influencing, Morgan Vine, spoke to the Daily express about the state pension triple lock. She states that another U-turn from the government, scrapping the triple lock, would 'be a huge blow, particularly for the older people living on low and modest incomes.'

Independent Age welcomes UKCB recommendations

The UK Commission on Bereavement (UKCB) launched its report, "Bereavement is Everyone's Business', on how to better support bereaved people across the country. Julia Neuberger, Commissioner of the UKCB and chair of Independent Age, and Morgan Vine, Head of Policy and Influencing at Independent Age, both welcome the report and urge the government to act on its recommendations.
