Grant-making
We use grant-making alongside our existing service delivery and policy and influencing functions to build partnerships with other organisations at a local and national level. By collaborating with others, we aim to develop and share good practice and amplify the voices of older people and the organisations working with them.
Our grant-making portfolio
Our grant-making portfolio comprises the following strands of work:
- emergency funds – our current Cost-of-living Grants Fund, supported by the Pension Insurance Corporation
- strategic partnerships.
Previous programmes
COVID-19 emergency grants programme
Between May 2020 and July 2021, we awarded £3.3million – including almost £900,000 from strategic partners – supporting 258 organisations with funds to support their work with older people during the pandemic, and, through later rounds, re-open their face-to-face services.
