Our Grants Fund
The coronavirus pandemic has changed life for everyone in the UK, but older people are amongst the hardest hit. Despite the challenges they are facing, organisations working with older people are keeping vital services running, providing advice, support, opportunities, and practical help.
Since May 2020, we have made grants totalling nearly £2.4 million to 203 organisations, supporting many different communities of older people and a wide range of work.
Additional funding
Thanks to a donation from the Scheinberg Relief Fund and additional funds released by our Trustees, we are pleased to be offering a Round 4 of the Grants Fund.
Grants of £5,000 to £15,000 of unrestricted funding are offered to small and medium sized charities working mostly with older people to re-establish face-to-face services, providing connection and support that many older people need to stay safe, healthy and active in their communities.
Work needs to be focused on older people living in particularly complex and challenging situations and/or older people in danger of being out of sight and out of mind.
Eligibility criteria, guidance and further information for Round 4 can be found via the links on the right-hand side of this page
Closing date for applications: 11.59pm 17 January 2021
