Two Million Too Many conference: What actions can you take?
Welcome to the Two Million Too Many conference on tackling poverty in later life. Here, you’ll find some actions you can take on the day.
Session 1 – Two Million Too Many
In this session we will hear about the reality of living on a low income in later life.
Help us to amplify the voices of older people by signing our Statement of Intent.
Session 2 – Projecting poverty trends in an ageing society
With the predicted growth of older private renters and poverty in later life, we take a look at the current trends and what could help.
Read and share our new report ‘Keys to the Future’ to raise awareness of how seriously we should be taking pensioner poverty now.
Session 3 – Tackling later life poverty stigma
In our final session of the day, we’ll be examining why stigma can be so damaging, and what can be done to tackle the stigma that surrounds poverty in later life.
