How to get involved

The route for this cycle is challenging but achievable for most.  Once out of London you will predominantly cycle along quiet country lanes passing through Mitcham, Carshalton, Chipstead, Banstead and Haywards Heath before taking on the challenge that is Ditchling Beacon – a mile long climb to the top of the South Downs where you will be rewarded with amazing views and a water break!  Then it's a downhill final stretch onto Brighton sea front.

Once registered on our team you will receive an Independent Age t-shirt, loads of fundraising tips, materials, training plans and support.

With your help, we can make sure that many more vulnerable older people get the vital information, advice and support they need to stay independent and live well.
