Get quizzical for Independent Age

Organise a quiz event at your local pub and invite your friends, family and colleagues along to form teams. Ask for a donation for entry into the quiz.

Tell us about your event

Set a date for your quiz and send invitations to everyone you’d like to come along. Ask the pub if they’d be happy to promote the event to their customers so even more people can get involved. Prepare for your quiz by writing the questions – you could host a round about famous older people in the UK, or theme it around a particular decade for a trip down memory lane.

Find somebody to act as quiz master for the night and ask local businesses if they’d be happy to donate a prize for the winner. You can host your quiz virtually if you’d prefer, using Facebook Live or a video platform like Zoom. Set up a fundraising page for your event and share it with anybody can’t attend.

You’ll receive fantastic support from our friendly team from the moment you sign up until you complete your challenge.

We’ll provide you with:
