Independent Age supports The Carers Week Quest
Independent Age Chief Executive Janet Morrison says,
“Independent Age is really excited to be supporting The Carers Week Quest - the biggest ever search for carers to help them access information, advice and support.
“As the age of the population increases, many people are taking on the role of carer to partner, family, friends or neighbours. Many carers are over 60. They do a vital job, but often receive little or nothing in return. Without them our health and social care systems could not function. Anyone can become a carer at any time but, as our population ages, there are more and more older carers. It’s vital they have access to the help and advice they need.”
