Kate is Executive Director of the Campaign to End Loneliness. She was previously the Campaign’s Director of Development and Communications.

With twenty years of experience as a senior communications professional, she has led public awareness and behaviour change campaigns across the public and charity sectors including an award winning public engagement campaigns for health service and local authorities in East London, and the initial NHS Staff flu vaccination campaign in 2011 which generated significant behaviour change in the healthcare workforce.

She has worked extensively with academics and researchers – through managing three health research networks hosted by the NHS confederation (funded by NIHR) and also within the University sector, helping to develop strategies for engaging and informing the public in academic research. She is passionate about the need for user-centred design to drive innovation. She has held Trustee positions as a non-executive and is currently a Trustee of The Tapscott Learning Trust and chairs their Standards and Safeguarding Committee.
