By becoming one of our Training Volunteers, you will enable the work our volunteers do to reduce isolation among older people. You will work alongside Independent Age staff to deliver training sessions and peer-learning workshops to volunteers.

We will be with you all along your volunteer journey, providing training, support and resources to enable you to deliver short training courses and peer-learning workshops using prepared presentations.

The role is varied and can be adapted to suit your availability and experience. You can do the role from your own home, at local venues or in one of our local offices in Newcastle, Glasgow or London.

We are delighted that you are interested in volunteering for Independent Age. Together we can tackle loneliness and support more older people.

*Please note that you must live in the UK and be aged over 18 to apply for our volunteering roles.

If you have any queries please email volunteer.recruitment@independentage.org or call our team on 020 7605 4255.
