Our Coordinating Volunteers play a crucial role, supporting and developing a network of up to 10 local volunteers who, in turn:
- Support and mentor local volunteers and older people
- Assess the needs of older people for our friendship services
- Visit an older person on a regular basis.
Coordinating Volunteers keep in close contact with their volunteers, providing one-to-one support and supervision and organising networking meetings and training to ensure the best possible delivery of our friendship and support services in their local area.
Thank you for thinking of volunteering with us – together we can tackle loneliness and support more older people.
*Please note that you must live in the UK and be aged over 18 to apply for our volunteering roles.
If you have any queries please email firstname.lastname@example.org or call our team on 020 7605 4255.
