Edinburgh Half Marathon

Beginning outside Edinburgh’s grand McEwan Hall, this run boasts an almost 90-metre descent to near sea level, making it one of the fastest – if not the fastest – half marathons on the planet. 

On this speedy course you’ll get to see some of the city’s most famous sights including the Palace of Holyrood, Arthur’s Seat and the Salisbury Crags, not to mention going through the iconic city centre and running along the coast for several miles. 

You’ll receive fantastic support from our friendly team from the moment you sign up until you complete your challenge.

We’ll provide you with:

• a free Independent Age technical running vest to wear for your event
• a well-deserved certificate, showing the amazing amount you raise for us
• fundraising and training support from our dedicated Events team.

If you already have your own place, we’d love to have you on the team! You’ll receive all the same support as our charity place participants.
