Coordinating Volunteer - Support & Check In Catch Ups

Here we have guidelines and relevant documentation on how and when to conduct a support and check in meeting with the volunteers you support.

Please take the time to read through the guidelines first and familiarise yourself with the relevant forms prior to booking your meeting or call.

Conducting a support meeting (PDF)

These guidelines have been put together as a good practice resource, to give some guidance to those conducting a support meeting with other volunteers.

Support and check in form - 1 month (DOC)

Please use this form when conducting your first support meeting with a volunteer when they have been in their role for one month.

Support and check in form - 3-6 months (DOC)

Please use this form when conducting your follow up support meetings with a volunteer when they have been in their role for three and then six months.

Support and Supervision Policy (DOC)

Having effective systems in place to support volunteers is key to making their volunteering experience a positive and impactful one. We have the following procedures in place to ensure that volunteers are supported to carry out their role to the best of their ability.
