Cost-of-living grants

Second round of our Cost-of-living Grants Fund awarded

As the cost-of-living crisis continues, Independent Age has now awarded a further £1 million in grants to charities and community organisations.

This round of grants will provide support throughout 2024, getting more money into the pockets of older people and making sure they don’t have to choose between buying food to eat and heating their home this winter.

We’ve awarded our grants in areas of high economic need and in large populations of older people facing financial hardship. The charities and community organisations we’ve chosen reflect our strategic priorities, delivering support to those most in need.
