Choosing a care home is like choosing any other home – it’s very personal and there's no ‘one size fits all’. It can be difficult to know where to start, what to look for or which questions to ask. Our checklist can help you feel more confident when looking for a care home, so you can make the decision that's right for you.
You can download this checklist and use it when you visit a care home. It doesn’t cover everything and you don’t have to answer all the questions. It's designed to help you remember what you want to ask and to record your impressions.
