Assessing Volunteer - Toolkit

Here is your toolkit to help you carry out your role as an Assessing Volunteer. You will find all the relevant information and supporting documents you will need for the role.

Taking on the role

Here you will find all the information you will need to start your role as an Assessing Volunteer. Includes items such as the volunteer handbook, your role description and boundaries, as well as volunteer policies and how to claim expenses.

Supporting volunteers

As an Assessing Volunteer you will be assessing the suitability of the person for receiving the services we provide. This section provides information on the Volunteer Visitor role who will be delivering the service as well as background information on the charity.

Processes, forms and templates

This sections lists all the relevant processes, forms and templates you will need to carry out the role as an Assessing Volunteer including assessment and support documentation as well as guides to carry out your touch point calls.

Reporting (DOC)

As an Assessing Volunteer you will need to feed back on the older people you support to your Independent Age contact. This sections gives you an example template on how reporting should be recorded and submitted.
