As well as delivering practical support and life-long friendship, we offer unrivalled in-depth expert advice and information on social care and related issues. Our advice line provides high quality information and advice from expert advice workers to over 5,800 older people, their families and carers each year.

Our range of guides and factsheets  also offer a lifeline by providing information and advice on the key issues faced by older people, their families and carers. In 2011, we distributed over 25,000 copies of our guides and factsheets.

By providing tailored services that address the key issues faced by older people, we are best placed to ensure that people can enjoy a rich and fulfilled life in older age, and your donations and support make this possible.

Donations in lieu of presents

Donations in lieu of birthday or anniversary presents allow you to mark a memorable occasion whilst helping people less fortunate than yourself. We greatly appreciate the generosity of those who choose to give in this way. It not only helps increase our funds but also raises awareness of our work. You can use to set up your very own website page on Justgiving.com for friends and family to use to make donations in this way. You can promote this on your Facebook page too.
